At SJ Collective Dress Hire, our ‘Try On Session’ offers a personalised and convenient way to find your perfect outfit. Schedule a 45 minute appointment to explore our curated selection of dresses, and enjoy the flexibility to try on any dress available at the time. You’re welcome to bring up to two guests to assist you in choosing the ideal look. Our boutique is dedicated to ensuring you find a dress that fits both your style and occasion seamlessly.
In Person Try-Ons
- Location: Highfields, QLD.
- Garment Availability: Please note that not all garments may be available in the try on location at the same time of your booking. Confirm garment and event date details during checkout to allow us to check availability.
Postal Try-Ons
- Available for specific garments on a case-by-case basis. Please enquire about availability for postal try ons via info@sjcollective.com.au.
Important Details
- Provide Details: During checkout, specify the garments you wish to try on and your event date. We cannot guarantee availability without this information.
- Confirmation: Once your booking is confirmed, the try-on address will be sent to you via email 24 hours out from your scheduled booking. Ensure your email address is provided during the booking process.
- Garment Reservation: Try-on appointments do not guarantee garment reservation. Garments are only secured once the hire fee is paid.
- Appointment Credit: Your try-on fee will be credited towards your hire if you book your garment within 7 days of the try-on session. If no booking is made, this fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another try-on or hire. Please note - only one (1) try on credit can be applied per booking.
- Damages: Any marks or damages incurred during the try-on will result in cleaning or repair fees.
- Rescheduling: Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule your appointment. If your desired garment is unavailable for your try-on, we will contact you to reschedule.

SJ Collective Dress Hire Waiver
I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions outlined by SJ Collective for the hire of dresses:
Rental Period:
I understand that the rental period begins on the date specified in the agreement and ends on the date specified in the agreement.
I agree to return the rented dress(es) to SJ Collective by the specified return date. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
Condition of Dress:
I acknowledge that I have inspected the rented dress(es) and found them to be in satisfactory condition at the time of pick-up/delivery.
I agree to return the dress(es) in the same condition as received, with no damages, stains, or alterations. Any damages beyond normal wear and tear will be subject to additional charges.
Care of Dress:
I agree to handle the dress(es) with care and follow any care instructions provided by SJ Collective.
I understand that the dress(es) must not be altered, washed, or cleaned by any method without prior approval from SJ Collective.
Liability:
I understand and accept full responsibility for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of the rented dress(es) during the rental period.
I agree to compensate SJ Collective for the full retail value of the dress(es) in case of loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
I acknowledge that cancellations made within 2 days of the rental date for pickup orders, or 5 days of the rental date for postal orders (to allow for postage timeframes) will incur a cancellation fee.
I understand that refunds are subject to the terms outlined in the rental agreement and any applicable cancellation policies.
Please note, a credit note that is applied from a cancellation can only be used a maximum of two (2) times.
Release of Liability:
I hereby release SJ Collective, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the rental period.
I understand that SJ Collective is not liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities that may arise from wearing the rented dress(es).
Governing Law:This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia.
I have read and understood the terms and conditions outlined in this waiver and agree to abide by them throughout the rental period by clicking 'Accept'.
